Role Summary

We are hiring a Director of Product Marketing to lead go-to-market strategy for zkSync. This role owns end-to-end GTM planning, messaging, competitive insights, developer education, sales enablement, and metrics that measure and grow the ZKsync ecosystem. You will create technical content, enable partners and sales, and drive developer activation while coordinating with product, engineering, BD, and community stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Go-to-market strategy - Design and execute comprehensive GTM plans for product and feature launches including messaging, outreach playbooks, partner coordination, and developer education programs.
  • Competitive and market insights - Run ongoing competitive analysis, market research, and user research to inform positioning, prioritization, and product messaging.
  • Sales enablement - Produce and maintain sales collateral such as one-pagers, datasheets, vertical slide decks, case studies, and battle cards to help BD and sales articulate value and close deals.
  • Messaging and positioning - Develop concise, differentiated product messaging tailored to target segments including developers, enterprises, and DeFi users, ensuring consistency across channels.
  • Developer education - Lead creation of technical education assets: tutorials, white papers, videos, sample code, implementation guides, and documentation to accelerate developer adoption and integrations.
  • Customer and community feedback loop - Collect and synthesize feedback from pilots, early adopters, and community channels, then feed insights back to product and marketing priorities.
  • Metrics and optimization - Define, track, and report on KPIs like developer sign-ups, integrations, MQLs, conversion rates, documentation usage, on-chain activity, and churn to optimize campaigns and programs.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Technical marketing excellence - Proven ability to translate complex technical features into clear value propositions and developer-facing content.
  • Blockchain knowledge - Solid grasp of blockchain concepts and Web3 tooling, plus experience communicating technical products to diverse audiences.
  • Competitive analysis - Strong product marketing fundamentals with experience benchmarking products and articulating differentiation.
  • Cross-functional leadership - Comfortable coordinating launches and complex initiatives across engineering, product, BD, and communications.
  • Content creation - Track record producing developer-focused content such as tutorials, white papers, sample code, and technical videos.
  • Data-driven mindset - Experience defining metrics, running experiments, and using data to iterate on content and GTM approaches.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior Web3 or enterprise blockchain product marketing, developer marketing, or technical content experience.
  • Experience launching developer activations, pilot programs, or ecosystem initiatives that drove integrations or on-chain usage.
  • Familiarity with developer tools, SDKs, and sample repos, and an ability to work closely with engineering to produce technical enablement assets.

Working Model, Location & Deadline
