Role summary

We are seeking a Developer Experience (DX) Enablement Manager to drive strategic initiatives that improve the developer workflow across the company. This senior, hands-on role bridges technology and people, improving onboarding, tooling, standards, and developer productivity. You will own programs that remove friction for engineers, evaluate and integrate developer tooling including AI and LLMs, and evangelise best practices across teams.

Primary objectives

• Elevate the development workflow by addressing the first mile of development and removing bottlenecks.
• Champion standardisation by creating and promoting guides, templates, and reproducible patterns.
• Assess and integrate emerging technologies, including AI and large language models, where they provide real developer value.

What you will work on

• AI tooling and integration - evaluate, pilot, and roll out AI/LLM tools that genuinely boost developer productivity and quality.
• Workflow standardisation - create practical standards, playbooks, and templates that scale across teams.
• Education and evangelism - produce concise guides, run workshops, and build awareness so engineers adopt better practices.
• Measurement and continuous improvement - define metrics, instrument usage, and iterate on programs based on data.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement programs that accelerate developer onboarding, testing, deployment, and feedback loops.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and platform teams to identify pain points and deliver pragmatic solutions.
• Drive adoption of internal tools, developer platforms, and automation to reduce friction in daily engineering tasks.
• Lead pilots for AI and developer automation, measure impact, and scale successful experiments.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, influence without authority, and report program outcomes to leadership.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and running programs that improve engineering workflows, developer productivity, or DX initiatives.
• Strong technical proficiency, comfortable writing code and discussing implementation details; experience with Python is preferred.
• Hands-on familiarity with open-source development practices and modern engineering toolchains and CI/CD patterns.
• Data-driven mindset with experience defining and measuring success metrics related to developer productivity or adoption.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to influence engineers and executives alike.
• Ability to operate independently in a remote environment and to drive cross-team alignment.

Nice to have

• Prior experience integrating AI, LLMs, or developer automation tools into engineering workflows.
• Background in developer tooling, developer platforms, DX, or engineering productivity roles.
• Hands-on experience with Python, scripting, or developer automation.
