About Dandy

Dandy is on a mission to modernize the large, antiquated dental industry, building a digital-first manufacturing network, software platform, and advanced automation capabilities to deliver high-quality, custom restorative products at scale. As we expand globally, Dandy is investing in supply chain and manufacturing technology to enable multi-site, automated production and world-class operational performance.

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Director of Supply Chain and Manufacturing Technology to define and execute the long-term technology vision that will power Dandy's global supply chain and manufacturing ecosystem. This transformational leadership role is responsible for architecting production planning, scheduling, orchestration, and execution systems, and for leading product managers and cross-functional partners to deliver next-generation automation and robotics capabilities that scale to billions in revenue.

What You’ll Do - Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the long-term technology strategy for supply chain and manufacturing systems to support Dandy's growth trajectory toward a multi-billion dollar business.
  • Champion development of production planning, scheduling, orchestration, and optimization systems that handle high complexity and volume across multiple sites.
  • Create technology roadmaps for advanced manufacturing, robotics integration, IoT, and machine learning that align with business expansion and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align technology investments to business objectives, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive the evolution from current manufacturing operations to automated, lights-out production capabilities.

What You’ll Do - Team Leadership & Delivery

  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing product management organization focused on manufacturing and supply chain technology.
  • Establish goals, metrics, and accountability for product teams while fostering a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and continuous learning.
  • Mentor product managers and create career growth and succession plans.
  • Work closely with engineering, advanced manufacturing, robotics, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution and system integration.

What You’ll Do - Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with Advanced Manufacturing and Robotics to identify technology requirements and accelerate robotics adoption.
  • Partner with operations leadership to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions that improve OEE, yield, and quality.
  • Support international expansion by designing supply chain technology that meets global operational and regulatory needs.

What We’re Looking For - Leadership Experience

  • 12+ years of product management and technology leadership experience, with at least 7 years managing teams and large, complex technology initiatives.
  • Proven track record building and scaling product organizations in high-growth environments and driving technology transformations in manufacturing or operationally intensive industries.

What We’re Looking For - Technical & Strategic Acumen

  • Strong technical fluency and ability to engage deeply on architecture, integrations, data analytics, and ML/IoT use cases for manufacturing.
  • Experience designing long-term technology strategies that enable scaling from hundreds of millions to billions in revenue.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and translate ambiguous business needs into pragmatic technical roadmaps.

What We’re Looking For - Execution & Results

  • Track record delivering complex technology initiatives rapidly while balancing short and long-term priorities.
  • Data-driven decision making, strong analytical skills, and bias for action in ambiguous environments.

Bonus Points

  • Experience scaling manufacturing technology at companies that moved from startup to scaled operations.
  • Knowledge of advanced robotics, computer vision, automated quality control, and 3D scanning systems.
  • Prior venture-backed startup experience during hypergrowth, and hands-on background in manufacturing systems implementation.

Why Join Us

This is a rare opportunity to architect the technology foundation for a global manufacturing transformation. You will have autonomy and resources to build world-class systems that define how custom manufacturing operates at unprecedented scale, directly enabling Dandy's evolution into a global leader in dental manufacturing.
