Role Overview

We are hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to own Money Movement experiences and help make Phantom feel world-class and trustworthy. You will focus on delivering exceptional UX quality - crisp visuals, smooth transitions, and intuitive flows - while balancing the need to ship rapidly and iterate. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver reliable, performant, and polished user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own core user experiences across money movement and wallet flows, from definition to delivery and quality.
• Ship production-grade frontend code with a strong emphasis on UX, performance, and reliability.
• Work closely with designers and product managers to implement polished UI and interactions, knowing when to perfect and when to push forward.
• Implement automated tests and maintain a strong testing culture to ensure product stability.
• Collaborate with backend teams to define APIs, handle error states, and monitor production metrics and errors.
• Drive performance tuning, error monitoring, and observability for frontend experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript, modular component design, and state management patterns such as Zustand or Redux.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Maestro, and Detox.
• Experience with performance tuning and error monitoring tools like Sentry, and a metrics-driven approach to reliability.
• Proven ability to collaborate closely with UX and product teams to deliver high quality user experiences.
• Ownership mindset - comfortable moving projects from definition through delivery and quality assurance.
• Previous experience in fintech or crypto environments is preferred.
• Track record of shipping high-quality products within high-caliber engineering organizations.
• Nice to have - 1+ years of experience working on a blockchain-based product.
