About SafetyWing
SafetyWing builds software-based global social safety net products for distributed people and companies. Headquartered in San Francisco, our fully remote team is distributed across many time zones and is united by a mission to reduce geographical barriers to opportunity. Our Remote Health product aims to expand access to global health coverage by working with independent insurance agents worldwide.
The Opportunity
We are hiring an experienced leader to design and launch a global, commission-only independent agent sales organization for Remote Health. This role will build scalable systems, recruit and onboard licensed agents, and motivate a distributed agent network to hit ambitious sales targets. The initial goal is to recruit and activate 1,000 active agents within two years.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and launch a global independent agent sales organization focused on Remote Health.
- Recruit, onboard, and motivate licensed insurance agents to achieve ambitious sales goals.
- Build scalable systems, processes, and playbooks for rapid growth across recruiting, onboarding, commissioning, and performance management.
- Leverage sales and outreach tools such as HubSpot, Apollo, and Gong to manage pipeline and agent performance.
- Work with legal and HR resources to ensure agent compliance and streamlined operations.
- Uphold SafetyWingβs values and ensure agents are trained to represent those values in interactions with customers.
- Drive continuous improvement to agent playbooks, training materials, and operational tooling to increase conversion and retention.
Who We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in B2B insurance sales, with a strong understanding of independent agent networks and how to recruit and scale them.
- Track record of building scalable sales systems, playbooks, and processes in entrepreneurial environments.
- Highly autonomous, resourceful, and comfortable building from scratch in a rapidly changing environment.
- Either an existing network of agents or the resourcefulness to build one quickly.
- Motivated by SafetyWingβs mission to expand global social safety nets and capable of aligning commercial and mission objectives.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience launching agent networks or distribution channels for insurance or financial products.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Apollo, Gong, or comparable sales and enablement tools.
