Enterprise Customer Success Manager (French speaker)
Location: Home based - EMEA (remote; candidate must be located in the EMEA region)
Role overview
Canonical is growing its Customer Success organisation to reduce churn, drive adoption and expand revenue within existing accounts. As an Enterprise Customer Success Manager (French speaker) you will own a portfolio of customers in a geographic region, coordinate complex technical projects, act as a trusted advisor, and ensure customers derive maximum value from Canonical products and services.
Key responsibilities
- Onboard new enterprise customers and introduce them to Canonical products and support processes (Ubuntu Pro, MAAS, Landscape, OpenStack, Ceph, Kubernetes, data applications, etc.).
- Manage a portfolio of customers in a specific geographic region, identifying growth opportunities and renewal risks in coordination with Sales.
- Coordinate complex projects involving developers, IT managers and decision-makers to achieve customer objectives.
- Run disciplined weekly customer and business reviews with cross-functional teams to identify and remove blockers.
- Serve as customer advocate internally, influencing product roadmaps, documentation and processes to improve satisfaction and retention.
- Support customers via reactive ticket resolution and create proactive campaigns using digital touchpoints to drive adoption.
- Collaborate with Sales, Field Engineering and Support to develop and deliver engagement plans that meet or exceed customer objectives.
What we are looking for in you
The ideal candidate will combine impeccable customer-facing skills with deep familiarity in infrastructure and cloud technologies and the ability to operate at senior stakeholder levels.
- Native French required with excellent written and spoken English for internal collaboration.
- Minimum 5 years' professional experience in IT with exposure to Linux OS, cloud computing, storage, networking, security, migration or IoT projects.
- Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to guide complex technical conversations.
- Experience building and refining internal processes while delivering customer projects on time.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to interact across departments and seniority levels.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and disciplined customer success or account management processes.
- Willingness to travel within the year for customer or company events (up to four times annually).
Additional skills that are valuable
- Experience with Salesforce, Jira or other CRM/issue management systems.
- Domain knowledge in enterprise data applications, cloud-native stacks, Kubernetes and related observability tooling.
