Graduate Customer Success Manager

Location: Home based - Worldwide (fully remote)

Role overview

Canonical is building a global Customer Success organisation to reduce churn, accelerate product adoption and drive value for customers. As a Graduate Customer Success Manager (CSM) you will take a first step into the CSM function, focusing on technical onboarding, support, and proactive engagement for newly onboarded users—particularly within the Tech segment and store customers.

What your day will look like

  • Resolve customer tickets and provide timely, high-quality solutions across Canonical products.
  • Enrich and maintain onboarding and troubleshooting documentation, FAQs and self-help resources.
  • Drive digital campaigns and lifecycle activities to engage multiple customers and increase adoption.
  • Identify high-potential and at-risk customers from new user cohorts and escalate appropriately.
  • Onboard new customers and introduce them to product capabilities, processes and support channels.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Support to build and deliver engagement plans that meet customer objectives.
  • Collect and format customer feedback for product teams to inform roadmap and improvements.

What we are looking for in you

This graduate-level role is ideal for empathetic, technology-minded individuals who enjoy helping customers and learning technical products.

  • Customer-facing experience or demonstrable empathy and drive to help others.
  • Strong organisational and presentation skills; ability to create and maintain clear documentation.
  • Passion for technology and infrastructure, with a particular interest in Ubuntu and open source.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Team player comfortable collaborating across departments.

Additional skills that you might also bring

  • Proficiency in additional languages (Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian) is a plus.
