Required skills and experience

• Strong proficiency in Transact-SQL (T-SQL), query optimization, and performance tuning in SQL Server.
• Experience with Azure data storage and processing services, including Blob Storage, Data Lake, and Azure SQL.
• Hands-on experience with serverless data processing patterns such as Azure Functions and Event Grid.
• Practical experience using Azure Data Factory and Logic Apps for data integration and automation.
• Familiarity with Databricks for scalable data engineering workloads.
• Knowledge of streaming architectures in Azure, for example Event Hubs and Stream Analytics.
• Experience with data warehousing and dimensional modeling using Azure Synapse or similar platforms.
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and version control applied to data pipelines.
• Full professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, construct, test, and maintain data architectures and datasets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Design and implement optimal data transformation processes and pipelines to migrate and transform data into actionable information.
• Coordinate work with stakeholders, project managers, data architects, data analysts, and other teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Perform data exploration to understand sources and shape processing logic.
• Identify opportunities to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
• Deliver aggregated data and reports to executives, analysts, and end users to inform business decisions.
• Prepare and structure data for predictive and prescriptive modeling.

What we look for

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience building and operating data pipelines and warehousing solutions in Azure.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Collaborative approach, able to coordinate across cross-functional teams.
