EMEA Marketing Manager

Location: Home based - EMEA (remote; candidate must be located in the EMEA region)

Role overview

Canonical is seeking an experienced regional marketing manager to develop and execute long-term go-to-market strategy across EMEA. This hands-on role will plan and run demand-generation, brand and partner programs across multiple products and industries, working closely with regional sales, partner, product, and central marketing teams.

What your day will look like

  • Define and deliver industry-focused GTM strategies for the EMEA region to generate pipeline and revenue.
  • Set, monitor and optimise KPIs for lead generation, demand generation and brand awareness campaigns.
  • Build organic and paid campaigns end-to-end: messaging, copy, creative assets, channels (email, social, paid ads) and measurement.
  • Plan, produce and run webinars and regional offline events from concept, logistics and promotion to post-event follow-up and measurement.
  • Work closely with the CRM team to attract, convert and nurture audiences using campaign automation and segmentation.
  • Own regional budget planning and execution, continuously optimising spend for maximum ROI.
  • Collaborate with regional Sales to incorporate field insights into the regional marketing plan and ensure alignment on targets and activity.

What we are looking for in you

  • Proven B2B marketing experience for enterprise IT products or SaaS, with demonstrable campaign delivery and impact.
  • Experience working with the EMEA market and understanding regional nuances across countries and channels.
  • Strong copywriting and creative judgement; ability to craft high-conversion content for email, social and paid channels.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills in English.
  • Hands-on mindset, data-driven experimentation and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
  • Growth mindset, collaborative attitude and the ability to work across cross-functional teams including product, partners and sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, STEM or related fields.

Desirable skills

  • Experience with enterprise CRM and campaign tooling and close collaboration with CRM teams.
  • Practical experience running paid acquisition, account-based marketing or partner-led campaigns.
  • Familiarity with analytics, attribution models and marketing automation platforms.
