Role Overview
Airbnb, founded in 2007, has grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals globally. Our Product Marketing team imagines the ideal community experience, working backwards to create innovative products that delight our guests and hosts. They partner with cross-functional teams across engineering, design, operations, and data science to execute a shared vision. The International Product Marketing team is part of the Worldwide Product Marketing team, requiring close collaboration with local and regional teams while maintaining alignment with worldwide teams.
The Difference You Will Make
As the Product Manager based in our LATAM region, you will report to the Product Marketing Director for International Markets. You will understand user needs, pain points, and behavior to translate insights into innovative product features and marketing strategies. You will collaborate with global business and country teams to develop partnerships that accelerate existing and new businesses. You will drive features in major releases and for test and learn pilots, customizing them for your target country/region and communicating them effectively to the public and media. You are responsible for the success of Airbnb products throughout their lifecycle—from concept to release.
A Typical Day
- Build expertise on Airbnb in your market/region through user research and marketplace data.
- Work with functional leaders to articulate product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Implement best-in-class product development and management practices.
- Advocate for and execute new products that deliver impact.
- Communicate and influence outcomes across all levels of the company.
- Drive alignment across product teams and key cross-functional partners.
- Define goals and success with measurable objectives and key results.
- Build partnerships that expand existing businesses and create new ones.
- Navigate regulatory and government requirements.
- Craft product narratives and marketing strategies.
- Develop and deliver engaging product demos to press.
Your Expertise
- 10-15 years of product management experience with a track record of product leadership.
- Experience in building and scaling global consumer products.
- Entrepreneurial track record of taking an idea to reality.
- Ability to use data and perform business analysis for product strategy.
- Highly collaborative and results-oriented.
- Ability to travel frequently (30-35% of the time).
- Fluency in English and at least one other local language (Spanish or Portuguese).
Your Location
Based in San Francisco or Miami, with occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites. Certain states are excluded for employment; please check with your recruiter for eligibility.
