Title: Product Communications Lead

As Product Communications Lead, you will shape and amplify Phantom's product narrative across media, influencers, and industry thought leaders. You will lead external communications for product launches, new categories, and strategic partnerships, working closely with Product, Marketing, and Leadership to ensure clear, consistent messaging that advances Phantom's position as a safe and accessible entry point to crypto.

Key responsibilities

• Own Phantom's product narrative across media and thought leaders to ensure consistent, disciplined storytelling that aligns with company strategy.
• Shape positioning for new products and categories that expand Phantom beyond retail trading into consumer finance and payments.
• Lead media strategy and execution for key product announcements, partnerships, and launches.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, and Leadership to align messaging and go-to-market plans across channels.
• Proactively identify storylines and opportunities that strengthen Phantom's reputation in tech and crypto media.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on external communications strategy, balancing speed, clarity, and discipline.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product, technology, or fintech communications, with strong preference for crypto or web3 experience.
• Proven track record of leading product announcements and securing coverage in top-tier outlets.
• Deep understanding of how media, influencers, and public narratives shape perception in fast-moving industries.
• Excellent writing, storytelling, and editorial judgment under pressure.
• Comfortable operating in a lean, high-autonomy environment with evolving priorities.
