Role summary

We are looking for a QA Automation / SDET Technical Leader with strong Java experience to own test automation strategy and lead technical efforts end to end. This is a 100% remote, hands-on role where you will work closely with Product Owners, lead test automation design, define CI/CD pipelines, and mentor the QA automation team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead QA automation strategy by defining priorities, automation targets, and quality standards for critical business cases.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to define acceptance criteria, ready and done definitions, and test coverage priorities.
• Design and implement automation frameworks and test suites using Java and relevant automation tools.
• Define and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins for automated test execution and reporting.
• Act as technical owner for multiple automation modules, driving design, development, integration, and maintenance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA engineers, perform code reviews, and drive best practices.
• Research and evaluate new testing technologies and present recommendations to stakeholders.
• Lead client and stakeholder interactions, communicate technical concepts and automation value effectively.

What we look for

• 5+ years of hands-on QA automation experience with Java.
• Strong experience with automation frameworks and test design methodologies.
• Proven experience implementing and maintaining Jenkins pipelines for CI/CD.
• Solid knowledge of testing best practices, integration testing, and test automation at scale.
• Experience leading technical teams, running meetings with clients and stakeholders, and making project-level decisions.
• Ability to translate client requirements into effective test strategies and automation plans.
• Native Spanish required and advanced English proficiency.
