Overview
Join Dandy as a Prep Designer and help convert digital dental scans into precise multi-unit crown designs. You will use 3Shape and Dandy's proprietary tools to produce accurate, production-ready designs that meet dentist prescriptions and quality standards.
What You’ll Do
- Use 3Shape and Dandy software to design multi-unit crown and bridge restorations from digital scans and dentist prescriptions.
- Ensure exceptional accuracy and quality in every design while meeting turnaround targets and specifications.
- Perform model, bite, and nesting tasks to prepare designs for production workflows.
- Collaborate with lab, production, and clinical teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues and iterate designs to resolve problems.
What We’re Looking For
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience with 3Shape is essential.
- Demonstrated experience designing abutments, bars, and crown & bridge restorations, including multi-unit adjacent designs.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver precise, manufacturable designs.
- Ability to learn quickly, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Comfort sitting for extended periods and working at a computer, with patience for troubleshooting design issues.
Bonus Points
- Problem-solving mindset and excellent time management skills.
- Experience with dental milling machines, 3D printing, or advanced 3D tools like Blender.
- Degree or certification in dental technology, dental hygiene, dentistry, or related fields.
