Overview

GitLab is hiring a Senior Marketing Campaigns Manager to lead integrated, data-driven campaigns that drive upsell and expansion among existing users. This role sits on the Global Campaigns team and partners closely with Product Growth, Product Marketing, Content, Lifecycle, Paid Media, and Sales to design and execute multi-channel programs that increase product adoption and customer lifetime value in a product-led growth environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Own global campaign strategy to drive product adoption and upsell revenue from existing users across GitLab product tiers.
  • Collaborate with Product Growth, Product Marketing, and Sales on roadmap alignment, product launches, and upsell opportunities to ensure timely, relevant messaging.
  • Develop integrated campaign briefs including personas, segmentation, funnel-stage content plans, performance KPIs, and localization needs.
  • Design and manage webcasts, demos, and other educational events that communicate upgrade value to users.
  • Partner with Content, Lifecycle, and Paid teams to activate assets across channels and maintain a cohesive user journey.
  • Analyze performance data, run A/B tests, optimize campaigns, and report results to stakeholders.
  • Champion global scalability and work with regional teams to localize campaigns and meet market-specific goals.

What You’ll Bring

  • 4-7+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience owning multi-channel campaigns with a focus on upsell and expansion.
  • Proven experience engaging technical audiences such as developers and DevOps buyers in a product-led growth model.
  • Strong skills in campaign analytics, A/B testing, funnel optimization, and data-informed decision making.
  • Excellent copywriting, project management, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation, webinar and CRM platforms such as Marketo, Iterable, Goldcast, and Salesforce.
  • Self-starter mindset able to manage multiple initiatives and meet tight deadlines.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of GitLab, DevOps tools, or open-source communities.
  • Experience with regional localization and scaling campaigns across markets.

Team and Culture

The Marketing Campaigns team is split into Global Campaigns, which sets strategy for integrated initiatives, and Regional Campaigns, which activates and localizes programs. The team values experimentation, clear metrics, and close collaboration with product and sales to create demand and drive adoption.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Guidance - California/Colorado/Hawaii/New Jersey/New York/Washington/DC/Illinois/Minnesota pay range: USD 94,100 to USD 201,600. Actual base pay varies by candidate location and level. Full-time offers may include bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits including health, parental leave, home office support, and development funds.
