About the role

We are hiring a Sales Director focused on the Healthcare industry to source, nurture, and close new business opportunities. This is a hunter role that emphasizes building relationships with midsize and enterprise healthcare clients, shaping compelling technical and commercial proposals, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver client solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Hunt and develop new accounts - originate and nurture relationships with hospitals, health systems, pharmaceutical companies, and MedTech organizations to identify engagement opportunities.
  • Present tailored value propositions to senior executives and stakeholders, aligning BairesDev offerings with client needs and digital transformation goals.
  • Scope and shape projects - define solutions, resource plans, and delivery approaches with product, UX, technical, engagement, and staffing teams.
  • Manage complex sales cycles - plan and execute lead generation, pipeline management, and forecasting to meet revenue targets and business goals.
  • Mitigate risks by identifying obstacles, proposing tactical plans, and ensuring successful handoff to delivery teams.

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years of relevant sales or business development experience in Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, or Health Systems, with exposure to technology solutions or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Proven track record of sourcing, nurturing, and closing midsize and enterprise accounts in healthcare or life sciences markets.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare information systems, EHR platforms, compliance requirements, and common technical challenges in healthcare.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build long-term executive relationships.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, detail oriented, and able to manage complex, multi-party deals.
  • Native English or fully bilingual English proficiency.

Preferred experience

  • Experience working with healthcare clients on technology, integration, or digital transformation engagements.
  • Familiarity with sales operations, travel coordination, and event support for enterprise pursuits.
